Grand Antique 14K Yellow & Rose Gold Turquoise & Rose Cut Diamond Ring. This grand 1870's Victorian ring is a strikingly beautiful combination of yellow and rose gold, meticulously cut natural green and blue turquoise, rose cut diamonds and gold granules. The rich combination of metals and gemstones is artfully arranged across the ring's 3/4 x 3/8-inch face, with a vertical row of five diamonds encircled by the turquoise cabochons, each cabochon carefully shaped to conform to the curves of the channel setting, four carved bands of rose gold arching into the channel from the cardinal points and a gallery of protuberant gold granules. The gemstones are mounted in a closed back setting, the yellow gold shank separates into three bands at the shoulders, and the ring is inscribed inside the shank with a series of initials and the date 1879. In excellent condition with two missing granules, it tests positive for 14k gold, measures a size 6.25 (sizable) and weighs 3.8 grams.
